Team Management

Coder Enterprise provides the ability to aggregate users and environments underneath different teams.

Default Team

A default team is generated on the platform's initial startup in order to assign users and user's environments to it. A default team must exist on the platform, but the default team can be changed once another team is created. Only an admin user is able to create teams.

Creating a Team

To create a team, navigate to the Teams page and select New Team in the upper right hand corner of the page. Fill in the team name and description and select Create.

Adding and Deleting Members

To add or delete members from a team, navigate to the Teams page, click on the team name you'd like to alter. From the chosen Team page, select the Edit Members button and add or remove members as you see fit. Once members are added, they can be given a manager role to allow for additional permissions around managing a specific team.

Deleting a Team

To delete a team, navigate to the Teams page, click on the team name you'd like to delete, and click on the Delete button in the top right portion of the page. Teams that have active environments underneath them cannot be deleted until all environments are removed.
