Coder named #5 new developer tool of the year by StackShare
Coder was named one of the top five new developer tools by StackShare, the popular online community that helps developers discover and compare software tools. The top-five placement puts Coder in the company of other developer favorites such as FigJam (#3) and GitHub Copilot (#2).
Coder is a platform that enables organizations to move developer workstations off of local machines and into their infrastructure, whether on-premises or in the cloud.
“Local workstations are brittle and slow due to the increasing complexity of software projects,” said CEO Ammar Bandukwala. ”In 2021, we moved developers in the world’s largest organizations to consistent, powerful, remote workspaces. Coder helps developers achieve a flow state by removing the waiting and breaking from their inner loop.”
“We have big plans for Coder in 2022,” added VP of Engineering and Product Ketan Gangatirkar. “We have some major improvements we’re working on that the StackShare community will love. The best developer workspace platform is going to get even better.”
